THE ALBUM IS NIGH!!

Hopefully before the world ends. That’ll be bloody unfortunate if not, eh? All that blood, sweat, and tears will be rendered as useless as a double glass-eyed nightwatchman. But it’s being mastered as we speak, and here’s a badly cropped image of the album cover to titillate and to tickle the tastebuds on your tongues…

We’re dead excited about all of this malarkey, and are playing a launch show in Derby on Sunday 16th Dec at the Hairy Dog. Book the Monday off and sail on down, it’s going to be mad as squid on toast!

Here it is in all its horrible glory! YAAAARRRR

We’ve had a sterling few weeks or so, with the decadently debauched Boomtown Fair, and a strange shindig on the remote channel island of Herm… We’re doing the local stints and keepin’ it reel in the neighbourhood.. Done Leicester, done Nottingham, both a barrel of larfs.. next up DERBY this Friday 31st… check it man!! >> FB event <<

BOOMTOWNFAIR!

A jolly May prevails yon scallyways with full force from the start, with this messy party in Nottingham on Saturday and then Birmingham the day after at the Island Bar, we’ll have enough “yarr”s and guffaws to pack a trawler full of blob fish. The album also progresses, deep in the mixing stages as the final home made sound effects were added including bottle smashing, water blowing, saucepan-tuned percussion and orgasmic seagulls. Sea you at the Maze goddammit!!!

ONLINE RELEASE! HUZZAH!

Avast, through the medium of Bandcamp, you can buy our single here! Go to the ‘Come listen, ye!‘ section and be one of the first to purchase either Phantom Vessel or Ly Ly Ladyboy or BOTH. Or jump straight to it, HERE!

In other news we thank the convoy of pirates with some serious garters who came to our show in Leicester on Friday. An arse clenchingly steamin’ one and Seven Little Sisters were top. We’ll be back there in May at the Shed. See ‘Gigs of Mirth’… We’ll be in Bristol (saturday) and Birmingham (sunday) this weekend horning our swaggle and swashing our buckle (or the other way round)..

Here be the artwork fer such mutinous release!Image

Craft on a raft!

Our set at Jumpers for Goalposts at the Alley on  Thursday was nothing short of a riot.. Mantits McGee was fired at from atop a wooden beam on the ceiling, Cannonball Paul challenged two innocent damsels to a semi naked fight and Fruitshoot guzzled a pint of cider out of a bugle! And we have a new barrel drum!

The night also played host to some fine craftsmanship, merited by some top notch swagger. Here be the entries…

The ‘Mirth plunder Leeds at the Dry Dock this Thursday, tis an actual friggin’ BOAT! For a night called Hempen Jig! And free entry. Cometh down if you’re in that neck, we’ve been voyaging south more than north on average but we’re open to make things beardstrokingly different…

The Seas at pince-point
